Malta-headquartered digital entertainment supplier Playson has appointed Oleksandr Rudenko as its head of platform.

The department head has years of experience with managing complicated web-platforms and e-commerce projects, making him the ideal candidate to elevate Playson’s infrastructure and integration into the next level, as the company seeks to grow its international footprint and bring on more partners and players.

Over the years Mr Rudenko made a significant contribution to the business, building scalable internal and external Infrastructure solutions at Playson. He joined the supplier almost five years ago, where he initially helped maintain a swift and smooth integration process.

In his most recent role as head of integration and infrastructure, he not only supported the onboarding of partners through Playson’s robust and agile API protocol but was focused on building cloud infrastructure solutions for the company to ensure maximum efficiency and stability.

The recent appointment is the latest of several structural changes Playson has made since its new brand identity was announced. The adjustments allow the supplier to make headway with its more aggressive growth strategy and deliver quality products to more partners worldwide.

Commenting on the appointment, Alex Ivshin, Playson CEO, said: “We’re delighted to have given Oleksandr the Head of Platform role, his expertise within infrastructure solutions and platform integrations will be invaluable as we aim to expand our global operator network rapidly.

“The recent internal adjustments we’ve made, will allow us to meet our enhanced growth plans, with our eyes set firmly on expanding and cementing our position key markets across the world.”

On his part, Mr Rudenko added: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Playson and am incredibly happy to have been appointed as the Head of Platform.

“It’s such an exciting time for us and I’m proud to have been recognised as someone who can spearhead the company’s revised ambitions. I’m looking forward to supporting the company as we bring on a host of new partners in the coming months and beyond.”
