For Strive Gaming’s president and chief commercial officer Damian Xuereb, the most exciting element of the company’s expansion in North America is the momentum in the market and the opportunity to solve some of the key challenges operators are facing in the US market.
“Ultimately, this was why Strive Gaming was formed,” he reflected in a video posted on the company’s social media page.
Indeed, Strive was set up as various US and Canadian states liberalised their gambling rules, opening up lucrative new markets to operators.
The company promised to be the the “first iGaming platform business specifically set up to satisfy the modern, multi-state requirements of North American operators.”
Discussing this ambition, Mr Xuereb said: “We want to help operators create relevant and engaging experiences for players, while also allowing greater efficiency.”
The tech Strive produces, he explained, looks at many of the challenges that modern multi-state operators require, including the ability to deploy in multiple states, and run a game opportunity from a single back window.
This refers to the fragmentation of the US and Canadian markets, where the divergence between the different regulatory requirements creates difficulties for smaller operators looking to enter multiple jurisdictions.
“We’ve really considered and looked at what the challenges are, what the state-by-state requirements look like, what test labs are used and which certification are needed,” Mr Xuereb stated.
However, as North America is a developing market, it was important for Strive to create a product that remains useful, and indeed, he claimed that the design and structure of its technology has been built to be future proof, not only to address current requirements, but any upcoming ones on the North American market.
Ultimately, he said: “We’ve seen the opportunity to really bring something different to the market,” and, at least in his view, this is what it’s done with its engine, that is expected to be a “game-changer” in the North American markets.
